The moment you examine your emotions logically — you are devolving them into manageable rationality, or basically, destroying them. Logic and unexplainable, free emotional expression is something relationships must embrace as a dimension of being human. There’s no higher pedestal in believing you can “examine” the irrationality of emotion and come out the other end being genuinely human. That’s why Free Expression is so dangerous to organized society and judicial systems around the world.
